The children of The Junior Artists Club
have been exploring and adventuring around Halewood Park Triangle.
Using some classic stories – The Famous
Five, Swallows & Amazons, The Secret Seven, and other stories- as their
inspiration, they have undertaken a whole range of interesting activities.
This has included;
Deciding on their own ‘gang’ name – The Wiggly Giggly Messy Cats (it took a lot of
collaborative work to narrow it down to just 4 words!)
Designing and using their own Secret
Language;
Creating artefacts using natural
materials;
Making their own natural dyes and paints;
Exploring the park and using what they
found there to create a script;
Deciding on characters and creating props;
And finally to come up with Invites for
the audience.
