Santa Claus is Coming to Halewood

The sleigh has been designed by Mike and the Reindeer by the very talented Becky Bryson assisted by Carole Trenaman. Merry Christmas Two floats - Santa’s Sleigh & The Branded Collection Van for the Mission Christmas will tour Halewood. On the final night (19th December) the procession will terminate at the new Halewood Shopping Centre – where the twelve days of Christmas and final get together will include carol singing and will act as a climax to the event Santa’s illuminated float will be a Sleigh on the back of a twenty one foot vehicle Santa Driving 2 Four Foot High Illuminated Reindeer Reindeer. This display will also have amplified music playing the Twelve Days of Christmas, and similar interspersed Christmas anthems. This will then be followed by the Radio City Mission Christmas Float – collecting unwrapped presents for their annual appeal and given up by Halewood Residents. Lou Armstrong one of the organisers of the event said “We want to foster a sense of the true Halewood Community Spirit, and aim to convey a focus on the community by promoting special events that enable our neighbourhood to come together - in the interests of improving the conditions of life in the Township”
